On July 13, 2026, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported 257 combat clashes along the front lines over the past 24 hours. The Pokrovsk sector in Donetsk Oblast remained the epicenter of hostilities, accounting for the highest number of engagements.
Russian forces launched multiple assaults in the Pokrovsk direction, targeting Ukrainian defensive positions near the settlements of Vozdvyzhenka, Novoselivka Persha, and Novopokrovske. Ukrainian defenders repelled 51 attacks in this sector alone, according to the military update.
Other active sectors included Kramatorsk, Toretsk, and Kurakhove, where Russian troops attempted to improve tactical positions but were met with resistance. In total, Ukrainian forces reported neutralizing 1,240 Russian soldiers and destroying 14 tanks, 28 armored vehicles, and 47 artillery systems over the past day.
The situation remains dynamic, with heavy fighting continuing across the eastern front. The Ukrainian military emphasized that defensive operations are ongoing and that reinforcements have been deployed to the most contested areas.
