The blaze, which occurred on July 12, 2026, was exacerbated by a broken water main that left residents without water for several hours and hindered firefighting efforts.
The 500,000-square-foot facility, located about a mile from the affected area, was heavily damaged. Firefighters struggled to contain the flames due to low water pressure caused by the main break. No injuries were reported, but the incident has raised concerns about food waste and infrastructure reliability.
