Three chain snatching incidents have been reported in the areas under three police stations in Giridih district, according to local police sources. The incidents occurred in the jurisdictions of Giridih Muffasil, Bagodar, and Pirtand police stations.
In the Giridih Muffasil area, a woman was targeted while walking alone near her home. The assailants fled with a gold chain. Similarly, in Bagodar, a victim reported being robbed of her chain while returning from a market. In Pirtand, a similar incident took place near a bus stop.
Police have registered cases and launched investigations. No arrests have been made yet. Authorities have urged residents to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity.
