The film, based on Homer's ancient Greek poem, stars a cast including Matt Damon, Tom Holland, and Zendaya. Nolan is known for shooting on location and using practical effects, and Morocco's desert terrains likely serve as stand-ins for the mythical locations of Odysseus's journey.
Alaoui highlighted the economic benefits for Morocco, noting that such large-scale productions create jobs and boost local businesses. He also mentioned the collaboration between international crews and Moroccan talent, which enhances the local industry's expertise.
