Huawei Malaysia has officially unveiled the MatePad Air 2026, an upgrade to the MatePad Air first introduced in 2023. The announcement was made alongside the launch of the Huawei Pura 90s series.
The new tablet features an OLED PaperMatte display, which reduces glare and provides a paper-like reading experience. It is powered by an upgraded processor, though Huawei has not disclosed the specific chipset details. The device runs on HarmonyOS 4.2.
Other notable upgrades include a thinner and lighter design, improved battery life, and support for the M-Pencil stylus. Pricing and availability for the Malaysian market have not been announced yet.
