Gospel singer Labisi has released her new Extended Play (EP) album titled 'Assurance' on July 10, 2026, according to her official social media announcement. The EP is described as a collection of songs celebrating God's faithfulness through a fusion of indigenous African sounds, heartfelt worship, and joyful praise.
The EP features five tracks, including the lead single 'Olorun Mimo' (Holy God), which incorporates Yoruba language and traditional percussion. Labisi stated in an Instagram post that the project was recorded in Lagos, Nigeria, and produced by gospel producer Olaitan Dada.
Labisi, known for her previous singles 'Imole' and 'Ayo', has been active in the Nigerian gospel scene since 2019. 'Assurance' is her first EP release since her debut single in 2020. The EP is available on major streaming platforms including Spotify, Apple Music, and Boomplay.
