According to the latest bulletin from the General Directorate of Meteorology (DGM), Morocco will experience generally hot weather on Tuesday, August 18, 2026. The heat will be particularly pronounced in the Oriental region, the Tadla and Rhamna plains, Saiss, the southeast, and the eastern and southern parts of the Saharan provinces.
In the Atlas Mountains, scattered thunderstorms are possible in the afternoon, which could bring some local rainfall. The rest of the country will remain mostly sunny with a few passing clouds.
Temperatures will range from 35°C to 42°C in the interior plains and the south, while coastal areas will see more moderate values, between 25°C and 30°C. The wind will be moderate, with some gusts in the southern regions.
