Nestlé has secured approval from the Thailand Board of Investment (BOI) for a THB23 billion (approximately USD 650 million) smart coffee complex. The investment, announced on July 10, 2026, aims to boost Nestlé's coffee production capacity in the region.
The facility will be located in the Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC) and is designed to incorporate advanced automation and digital technologies. Nestlé plans to produce Nescafé and other coffee products for both domestic and export markets.
This project is part of Nestlé's broader strategy to expand its presence in Southeast Asia and meet growing demand for coffee. The BOI approval includes tax incentives and other benefits for the investment.
