Searchlight Pictures has released the trailer for 'Behemoth!', a new drama film written and directed by Tony Gilroy. The film stars Pedro Pascal as Alex Serian, a gifted cellist who returns to his family home in Los Angeles after 20 years on the road.
The logline describes the story: 'A gifted cellist, Alex Serian, returns home to Los Angeles after 20 years on the road, only to find his family's music studio on the brink of collapse. He must confront his past and his estranged siblings to save the legacy of their late father.'
The cast includes Cate Blanchett as the family matriarch, along with John Boyega and Zendaya as Alex's siblings. The film is set for a limited release on October 15, 2026, followed by a wide release on October 22, 2026.
Tony Gilroy, known for 'Michael Clayton' and the 'Bourne' series, wrote and directed the project. The trailer features a score by composer Hildur GuΓ°nadΓ³ttir.
