Silver Lake, a private equity firm, and its managing director Egon Durban sold a combined $26.98 million in Dell Technologies shares on July 10, 2026, according to a regulatory filing. The sale involved 200,000 shares at prices between $134.90 and $135.00 per share.
Durban, who serves on Dell's board, sold 100,000 shares directly, while Silver Lake entities sold another 100,000 shares. The transactions were disclosed in a Form 4 filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.
Silver Lake has been a long-term investor in Dell, holding a significant stake since the company's $67 billion acquisition of EMC in 2016. Durban has been a director since 2013.
The sale comes as Dell's stock has risen over 40% in the past year, driven by strong demand for its AI-optimized servers. The company reported record revenue of $124 billion in its most recent fiscal year.
