The African Initiative Against Corruption and Examination Malpractice (AfICEM) has called on Nigerian youths to embrace integrity as a foundation for national development. The Chairman of the Board of Trustees of AfICEM, Prof. Okeke, made the call during an event marking 'Corruption Day' on July 12, 2026.
Prof. Okeke emphasized that value reorientation is crucial for combating corruption in Nigeria. He urged young people to reject examination malpractice and other corrupt practices, stating that integrity is key to building a prosperous nation.
The event, which took place in Abuja, featured discussions on the role of youth in promoting transparency and accountability. AfICEM also launched a campaign to educate students on the dangers of corruption.
