Bank of Africa has launched a "Summer Pop-Up" initiative specifically designed for Moroccans residing abroad, according to a press release from the bank. The pop-up branch, located in Casablanca, aims to provide tailored banking services to the Moroccan diaspora during the summer period.
The initiative offers a range of services including account opening, currency exchange, and personalized financial advice. The bank stated that the pop-up will operate from July to September 2026, aligning with the peak return season for Moroccans living overseas.
This move is part of Bank of Africa's broader strategy to strengthen ties with the Moroccan diaspora, which plays a significant role in the country's economy through remittances and investments. The bank has not disclosed specific figures regarding expected customer numbers or transaction volumes.
The pop-up branch is staffed by multilingual employees to assist customers in Arabic, French, and English. Bank of Africa emphasized its commitment to providing convenient and accessible services to all clients, especially those traveling during the summer months.
