The Guam Fire Department (GFD) responded to a structure fire on Quezon Street in Dededo on July 12, 2026. The fire was reported in the afternoon, and crews arrived to find a single-family home engulfed in flames.
According to GFD spokesperson Kevin Reilly, firefighters from multiple units were dispatched and managed to contain the blaze within an hour. No injuries were reported, and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
The home sustained significant damage, and the occupants were displaced. The American Red Cross was contacted to provide assistance to the affected family.
