Dunneace Construction Ltd has received planning permission from An Bord Pleanála to complete an estate of 14 houses in Palatine, County Carlow. The development includes six three-bedroom semi-detached houses and eight four-bedroom semi-detached houses.
The company had previously been granted permission for the development, but the permission lapsed. The new permission allows for the completion of the estate, which had been left unfinished.
Local residents had expressed concerns about the unfinished estate, which had become an eyesore. The new permission is expected to address these concerns and provide much-needed housing in the area.
An Bord Pleanála granted the permission subject to a number of conditions, including requirements for landscaping and boundary treatments.
